NV Global Tiling new Supplier

NV Global Tiling has recently teamed up with Westbuild Products as our main supplier of tiling materials.

We are currently using Westbuild tiling adhesives Cemco 20, Extrabond, Flexbond, Hts White, Cemco B1, Cemco 101 and Easy Screed.

All of our tilers are extremely pleased with our move to Westbuild products and we have found our clients are impressed even more so with the wide range of products.

The Project

One of Australia’s most well known and iconic retailers, Kmart, has recently committed to leasing a new state-of-the-art warehouse and distribution centre being developed by Ascot Capital in the new Perth Airport precinct.

Whilst mainly a warehousing facility, totaling over 41,000m2, this new complex required tiled surfaces to be installed throughout the bathroom, shower and toilet facilities.

The tile installation was to be completed with over 350m2 of flooring and 900m2 of wall areas, over multiple areas throughout the project.

The Solution

Given the variation in building materials, Westbuild Tiling and Flooring products were used. This included; Westbuild Easy Screed and Cemco 101 for the set downs that required screeding prior to tiling, and Cemco 20, a flexible tile adhesive with non-shrink technology to provide a level finish with maximum adhesion.
Cemco 101 was also used to prime all porous surfaces prior to tiling ensuring the best possible bond throughout this system.

In Review

The ease of use with Westbuild’s products and subsequent high level of finish was evident on this project during multiple site visits by Westbuild.
